First few weeks in STL (from a foodie perspective)

On Friday, August 1st, I am officially a St Louis resident! After a few months of uncertainty, working remotely, and lots of moving boxes, I am excited to finally call STL my home. I plan to use this blog as a place to share my foodie adventures, travels, and finds. So far, I have found a burger place (Bailey’s Range), a coffee place (Kaldi’s/Kayak’s), really really good local pizza (Pi Pizza and Katie’s) and can’t wait to explore more STL food offerings. Here is a quick recap in photos of my favorite STL places so far. I think I’m going to like it here.

1st set: Strange Donuts, picnic dinner in Forest Park (salmon salad), STL mornings, our neighborhood.

2nd set: my chocolate chip cookies for the World Cup, iced coffee from Kaldi’s and an American flag, Jack helping move, Epicurious chocolate cake recipe.

3rd set: homemade reese’s bars, first batch of cookies in STL, and downtown.

4th set: Ina Garten’s flag cake for USA World Cup game, IN & MO mugs, and Tower Grove farmer’s market.
